Bali @ Batubelig Parties no longer ! Back to work.

The big news in Bali this week was the governments intervention to close down all of the warung's and bars on the Batu Belig beach! Goodbye to the famous la Barca parties and Africa disco party at Cosy. We will be partying on at la plancha and the bars on the dyna pura beach for as long as we can. I love to boogie on the beach so i will keep posting whenever i hear of any future opportunities to do so. In the meantime i will get on with my work as a guide and designer. I am currently working on a new fashion Business set up here and to start on a design project for an Australian based international selling company drawing up original logos, creating the packaging, and to advise on the website design. Also working on the decoration and style of a very special african theme party to be held at the Living Room for their anniversary, that promises to be a very special night with top djs and prior a special african menu in the restaurant. The date has been set as the 8th of june

Advising a new business to set up in Bali

I have just worked on a complete start up business advice report for Australian designers who are to relocate in Bali.
Completed over a 2 week period at 5 days wages, I am proud to say my information and advice was a wonderful
success for them as they were able to develop an intricate and well informed business plan which ensured them
the financial investment needed to make the move.
I look forward to meeting them in Bali in the next few weeks to work with them on the ground.
As i will introduce them personally to all the relevant legal contacts, tailors, photographers, printers, designers, advertizing, models and fabric/trimmings suppliers etc that they know by name and address already advised in the report.
Starting with a VIP pick up and fast track through the immigration and airport on arrival
by the immigration agent chosen to follow on immediately with the necessary paperwork for establishing their company and relevant work permits ie: Kitas.
And to source the most appropriate retail/wholesale space for them to lease and renovate asap.
It is great to work with such thorough and determined designers who respect my many years of experience and my invaluable
contacts in Bali, in order for them to establish their new business here with speed and with a clear vision of expectations
and successful marketing stratagies.
I think they will be a great success in their chosen designer fashion outlet and I envision them being set up and trading
before the High season.
As they do, I will write again re their grand opening, with details.
I am available for any type of business guiding, sourcing and advising in Bali.

Working as a Guide for new Business in Bali, Sourcing, Sampling and production Assistance and as a Design Mentor

My work as a freelance designer and Expat Business guide for new labels and companies coming to Bali,
is a creative and interesting development in my career.
From designing sampling and production in fashion and jewelry for my own label in Bali, to sourcing charms and pendants
for a new Australian start up company, and organizing the Marketing printing and designing even the display cases
for them as they are overseas, on to sourcing trimmings, tailors and shoe makers for a dance costume label, and fashion mentoring for a young new talented menswear designer both via email and with him here in Bali: advising on all from leather to buckles to silver casting, printing lookbooks and more!
I truly enjoy sharing my wealth of knowledge and contacts for tailors craftsmen printers etc with newcomers.
My rate at $140 per day or $25 per hour is exceptionally good value for the time, money and headaches saved for my clients
as the wealth of my experience here and my recommendations for the most suitable workers or companies for them, can be a godsend, for a newcomer to new business with Bali.
